The digital revolution is changing the way we live, the way we do business and the world we live in. Anything that can be digitalised will be digitalised and interconnected.
The pace of change across society is unprecedented – the Internet of Things (IoT) already comprises more than 50 billion connected devices – but how well is the industry in Europe positioned to make a success of 5G?
Mobile 360 Europe comes at a crucial time for the industry. Last year, European operators published a 5G manifesto which indicated a target of launching 5G in at least one city in each of the European member states by 2020. But in order to meet this target, and that of the EU’s Digital Single Market, ambitious reforms to the Telecoms Framework must be agreed as well as a fair, consistent and predictable regulatory environment.
We aim to address these concerns, and to align them with the ambition of securing Europe’s digital future. By focusing on four key areas; UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, Digital Single Market, Connected Cars and Women in ICT, Mobile 360 Europe will drive positive actions that enable the region to benefit – both socially and economically – from 5G mobile technologies and services.
Taking place on October 17 at Résidence Palace in Brussels, Belgium, join senior EU representatives, policymakers and industry leaders as we discuss the latest proposals and reforms driving the digital revolution across Europe. We look forward to seeing you there!
